Bhalod Datta Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Dattatreya and located in Rundh, Gujarat.
This mandir is an important place of worship for the devotees who do the Narmada Parikrama.
The idol of lord dattatreya is unifacial unlike the regular 3 faces idol mostly everywhere.
This temple is must visit worship place for devotees doing Uttarvahini Narmada Parikrama. Great saint Shree Tembe Swami maharaj had been visiting this place during his chaturmas. This temple also has a temple dedicated to Shree Tembe Swami maharaj.
Lots of Lord Dattatreya followers aim to do Narmada Parikrama during the Chaitra month. Especially the Chaitra navratri period is considered to be the most auspicious period. This year the Chaitra month is 10th april to 9th May 2024. Group Pilgrimage tours are done over the period of 4-5 days.
There are many ways to reach Bhalod Datta Mandir from Mumbai/Thane. Nearest railway station in Vadodara (Baroda). From there you can take some public transport and/or auto to reach there. From Vadodara railway station, its around 2 hrs journey.
Those who are yet to do Uttarvahini Narmada Parikrama, can plan till 9th May 2024 or otherwise they will have to plan and wait for next year chaitra month.
